Rentals.
Funny how, as time passes all of us by, you have this image in your mind of your parents when you were a kid. Maybe a particular day. A particular year. Maybe even a particular event.
That image is placed on long-term deposit into the front of your memory bank and the teller has thrown away the key. It can no longer be touched, you just know it's there.
Then one day, you look at those people and realise, that no matter how old they may have become, you mind recalls that deposit and it's not so locked up after all. It's been sitting right there in your wallet and you've been using it as currency your whole life.
Time devalues cash in your pocket, and although your deposit will never be returned, that particular day, year or event simply accrues in value.
