The Closing of the AOG

A big ceremony closed out the Alternate Olympic Games. Some of the athletes had already returned home, but many remained to celebrate with Brazil.

Flowers and donkeys,
and horses and goats...
seeing the competitors,
put a lump in your throat.

I had to google the Olympic ring colors. Blue, black, red, yellow, and green. The problem? What animal comes in green...that I could take a picture of t-o-d-a-y? None that I could think of. So, the green tomatoes were picked up on the field after the now-angry crowd winged them at American swimmer Ryan Lochte. What an idiot.

The games are now closed,
there are no more players.
But, I SET A NEW RECORD...
THIS IS FORTY-FIVE LAYERS!!

Don't look too closely, because...yes...that is me in the blue ring...striking my best Usain Bolt. HA!
