Merrick on Monday

Thankfully, last summer's game fad of Pokémon seems to have disappeared. But, another game has replaced it this summer. Rocks. Painting them, "hiding" them (you don't really hide them), and then finding other peoples rocks.

Merrick and his mama painted up some stones last night, and I went with them downtown to "hide" them.

There were a few other kids down there looking, but the ducks and the turtles didn't seem to show any interest.

In addition to putting a rock on Grateful Fred, Merrick also had to do a little climbing.

We just finished watching the 2 hour eclipse special across the United States. In a lot of places, the clouds did not give way so that the spectators could see the event. ;0(
