Flying Pterodactyls

I've had a hankering to buy a new woodburning tool, so off I went to Saginaw, Michigan...58 miles away. After a nice discussion with the lady salesperson, I got a burner, a handle, and 4 tips.

As long as I was in the area, I visited the Marshall Fredericks Sculpture Museum, located on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University.

He is quite well known for his bronze pieces in our Midwest region. He created quite large pieces, and many are on display. His workshop is also open, and very informative to learn about the "lost wax" bronzing process.
