Summer has certainly left us. Today we have strong winds, persistent rain and cool temperatures.

But then school holidays in August are often like this.

Before the rain settled in I managed to find this nice summer colour.

More grandparenting again next week in Stockport. Son continues to make post op progress but with daughter in law back at work he needs some help with seven and five year old boys. Good thing over eighties can still playfootball.
