2016 Tuesday -- Plein Air Painter

It was shortly before 5:00 p.m. when we grabbed the dog leashes and headed for the beach with the three pups. The tide was very low so we walked the sand for approximately an hour.

"En plein air (French pronunciation: ​[ɑ̃ plɛn ɛːʁ]), or plein air painting, is a phrase borrowed from the French equivalent meaning 'open (in full) air'."

I think Mr. Fun has always been fascinated by this type of artist. As far as we remember, this is the first time we have ever seen a plein air painter in Cayucos.
