Water fight!

We've had a much lazier day today. It's been really hot so we went back to Llandudlo this morning to try out the paddling pool there. We passed it the other day and thought it looked perfect. Right next to the beach and equipped with toilets and a cafe. We found a spot to camp and got all our stuff set up, got our costumes on and then headed to the water....it was FREEZING! P had several attempts getting in but A point blank refused. No matter how hard I tried to convince them that once they were in, it wouldn't feel so cold. After about 40 mins we abandoned ship and headed up the beach to have our picnic.

A was starting to get stroppy as he was tired so we got back in the car and popped to a nearby retail park to get some shopping for the cottage. Whilst there we had a look in Smyths toys and came out with 4 water pistols!

When we got back to the cottage the pistols were filled and we had awesome water fight. P kept switching sides between me and Mr J and A enjoyed squirting the ground, the car and the flowers! He didn't quite get the idea of a water fight to begin with!

The day was finished with another BBQ, more sporadic water fights and a walk to see the horses.
