Blue Rice!

What rubbish weather again!!!
Wet, chilly, grey, miserable......we haven't ventured outside at all until late afternoon when the rain finally eased off.

We actually had soup and a sandwich for lunch as we were chilly....is it really August?!!

Anyhow a pretty rubbish day all round was bolstered when we drive over to our friends house for supper. We'd not met up for a few months, so it was good to see them looking well.

They holiday in Thailand every year, love the people, their culture and their food. luckily for us Di is a fab cook and to our delight, treated us to a beautifully authentic Thai meal, which just had to be shared with you for my blip tonight.

Thai spring rolls, green papaya salad, prawn and pomelo salad, yellow chicken curry and spicy red fish curry with white and yes, "blue" rice, coloured by pea flowers apparently, looked so lovely :-)
