Gletness

Thankfully it's been a fairly dry day, a couple of light showers and the sun even tried to sneak out from the clouds.

Even though I've only returned back to work, shift rota had me on a day off today.  Got the chores out of the way this morning and walkies with Sammy.  Friend Julie popped by and we headed for a cuppa and cake at the Cornerstone.  We went for a run after to look for whales, as there had been sightings, but think we were always behind.  More walkies with Sammy this evening and now it's time to relax and feet up with the telly.

Even though we didn't see the whales today, we still enjoyed the scenery along the way.  I just love it here at Gletness, and what a view they have from the house.  There was also a lovely summer smell in the air here, with the wildflowers and grasses, also noticed that tonight too.  Taken at Gletness, South Nesting.
