Morning glory.

My third morning walk this week! This could be a record.

I'm feeling pretty stiff now but this morning on Harden Moor was glorious with wonderful wispy cloud blue skies and hints of the moorland heather to come.

We had the dogs (two) with us today. Here you can see Toby and three of our 5 walkers in the distance. Unusually C was behind me as was Buster but he was more interested in getting into the boggy wetland alongside the path.

The path is stone paved as it used to lead to a quarry. The trucks of stone were pulled over these slabs and if you look carefully you can see grooves made in the stone over many years of use. (See large)
