Not football
Although Di and I went and watched the last game of Rugby League for the season for the Aberdeen Tigers, our grand son Callum played well and the team won there final match. This was followed up by a fine afternoon organised by the club and presentation of awards. Todays blip is of the Karool Park dog agility area. The area allows dogs to come together and exercise in a variety of ways in an enclosed area. With the open fence, an approaching dog, an owner can gauge how the other dogs will react. The facility has been operating for several years and is used regularly for training of dogs. My extra photo is of a continuation of the park, in total the park stretches from the eastern most part of the residential area for two kilometres where it drains into the Karool Wetlands then into the Hunter River. I was very impressed with the care the gentleman took when he placed his two dogs in the back of his utility. He removed their walking leash and attached them to a short fixed leash so the couldn't jump out while he was driving. He then took two plastic dog bowls and filled them up with water and allowed the dogs to have a drink. It is National Tree Day tomorrow, and if you look to the left above the agility area you can see a little of the planting from two years ago. In Australia there will be more than one million trees planted tomorrow. Hope you have a great day and take time to guess what tomorrows BlipFoto is about.
