On the marshes

We took rent-a-dog out to the sea bank and the RSPB reserve.  I have never seen so many waders on previous visits.  I saw snipe, sandpipers, lapwings, avocets, oystercatchers, egrets, geese and other birds that I could not safely identify.  The twitchers were out in force so word must have got around.
