Keep the flag flying

The Catalan flag has been replaced with a bigger one that can now just be seen with the naked eye. The building is the Casino. The Casino and the area around it, including the church, now have the newly designated grade one status allocated by the historic buildings of France organisation.  I was duly sworn in for another term of office as church warden.  I get my arm twisted as someone has to be able to negotiate with the Mairie on joint committees and we have few French speakers.  Twenty seven of us then moved on for the monthly parish shared meal at L.'s house.  It was a typically French long and slow affair but very relaxing.
