Field scabious

Another day looking at churches, getting lost, ending up in Colchester, and using my sat nav rather a lot!
Still it was all an adventure! 
On the way back I popped into Abberton resevoir 5 minutes before it closed.... and just had enough time to pop out and get a shot of this beautiful Field scabious  Knautia arvensis, such a delicate shade of pale mauve.
Back home tomorrow.......
