Just in time ....

To cheer me up!
This beautiful moth, a Gold spot came to my trap last night!
I have seen one before, but this is an amazing 'nubie' for my garden list.
The Gold spot Plusia festucae, is reasonably common throughout Britain, usually flying in fens bogs and damp places - not quite a description of my suburban Garden! 
Sadly, as is the case with these things, the amazing metallic silver color shows up as white in the photo :-( I really wish I could share how stunning it actually is with you all.
