Charlie's party

What a fun packed and brilliant day!

It was Charlie's 5th birthday party today so we spent the morning getting the party tea ready and going to the park.

We set up the Spiderman party tea table and got all the food/drinks out and then the football coach from school led the party. He did a brilliant job of keeping 16 x 5 year olds engaged and having fun, they played some great games and did lots of chasing after balls. Thankfully there was a large shaded area so the mums and dads could sit in the shade too.
All the children seemed to enjoy the party tea and Rosie got to sit with Amelia and Fern at the little girls end of the table! C's football cake was a hit and it was so nice to see C's friends old and new all together.

On the way home C said his highlights were the football/games, balancing the bean bag game and the presents! C got a lovely player of the day medal too.

We all had fun in the garden with some friends and filled up the paddling pool. R enjoyed launching herself in and out and Charlie loved sitting opening his presents in the garden he is very lucky and has some great new things. Prosecco and bed!
