Brave boy

Today was quite a day.

C went to hospital for his MRI scan under general. He had a lovely play in the hospital playroom when we arrived, then went down for his anaesthetic and scan at 2pm.

A few hours later after a good sleep he came round and got one of his b'day presents early for being so brave. He was very happy with his new recycling lorry Lego set.

We were allowed home after a long day. Really glad we've got the scan over with. The nurses and doctors looked after us so well at Winchester: NHS staff really do an amazing job. We were attended with such genuine care and attention all day which made the whole experience so much easier.

Now time for sleep.
