at the airport

A long day of travelling. 
We knew it would be a challenge, being as we were going the long way round i.e via Dublin, but the hour queueing to board and then two hours waiting in the plane on the tarmac was the killer.  Not even offered a drink of water. Thanks Ryanair. 
We  got to Edinburgh eventually, exhausted and frazzled. 
We were greeted with wine, fish and chips and lots of lovely family members, most especially my little grandson Oscar.  So we very quickly felt much better !
