Marsh light
A relief to get out of the car after a nearly 7 hour journey.
Thank goodness for Radio 4, although hearing the news several times over was saturating and a recipe for utter dejection and despair.
There was, though, a good skit on Sisyphus and a hospital version of The Odessey which had me hooked. It had a happy ending; drama can do that. What a small miracle Radio 4 is.
I felt disorientated when I walked out but the late light was lovely and it was good to hear the sea and breathe the salt marsh air. There was my friend the seal in the harbour and then I saw something long white and big take off from the creek. Pretty sure it was a spoonbill.
