Sudden showers

We all had a good long lie-in, much needed after the exertions of the last few days. In the afternoon we walked over to Whiteladies Rd to the newly refurbished Everyman cinema, where Karen treated us to a viewing of the new Absolutely Fabulous movie - a funny and satirical bit of nonsense that was just what we all needed. We had been going to investigate one of the local eateries afterwards, but since a shower of rain had turned almost tropical in its intensity, we jumped in a taxi and went back to the Thali place in Clifton where we had a good meal. On our way back along the crescent it was still raining, but only slightly. Come to think of it, this was probably taken from a similar spot to this from a couple of nights back - just 180 degrees difference.
