Forbidden no more!

Just back from scoffing a terrific meal and a few Snow Beers on our last evening in Beijing. Could have happily stayed here longer but it's westward ho' tomorrow. Picked the train tickets up today, probably shouldn't have done that at rush hour but it was an interesting experience.
Other than that we spent most of the day walking in the Forbidden City; too long really as it was stinking hot but then again we may never be back. We managed to find a few really interesting places where it wasn't overrun by tour groups so maybe they didn't reach the 80,000 visitor max today! But the invasive selfie-stick needs to be rooted out and destroyed before they have 10,000 eyes out!!
