Milkweed again
This is the flower of Asclepias syriaca, a common plant in waste places, fields and roadsides. The field where I found this has already been mown and the hay taken off. Forbes are beginning to grow in abundance, including this milkweed, an important plant in the ecology of many insects including the Monarch Butterfly.
This is the flower that I blipped "gone to seed" earlier this month (not the same plant!!!). See https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2195642283792009273
