SS and I led two services back to back this morning. Whoever decided on a church service at 9am on a Sunday morning needs a quiet word. One of the most amazing things was meeting one of our student's mum who we've been praying for over the last year. Her daughter attended our Monday morning prayer group and each morning we would pray for her mum who was having a rather nasty time with cancer and it looked pretty serious. So cool to meet her today for the first time and to see her looking so incredibly well! Scans have come back clear and just four chemo sessions left. She was up front talking about her daughter, who is currently in South Africa and talking all about the gross parts of the chicken she doesn't want to eat. Guess which African heckled with 'those are the best bits!'?

Lunch with the parents makes it two Sunday roasts in a row. Winner. Then a great match from Murray. Double winner.

The best winner of the day though was most definitely my sister-in-law and her brilliant first 10km race. Go Ruth!

One more week of craziness before a quitter wind down. We can do this!
