Flowery Saturday

An early start and a 2 hour drive to Hampton Court Palace for the flower show. The weather stays xfair and warm enough fir no jackets. We walked and walked and walked and my legs ached and ached and ached. The flowers were beautiful and I ate too much at lunchtime. C bought plants and I didn't. Too difficult on a plane.

After the Show we had dinner in a restaurant beside the Thames and then a horrendous journey home when a deviation from the M3 led us back to where we started. It was 11 before we got back and I was so glad I want driving.

Sunset over the Thames was lovely though.
