Mind the gap!

Edinburgh is awash with building at present but demolition and rebuilding opens up some new, if temporary, vistas. Here a view to Calton Hill over the New Waverley development.

Talkative day with my new colleague from Newcastle. We had lunch and a natter at the Parliament. The day ended with a useful session on dyslexia.

#2 son was at the golf in Gullane (or Gillan or Goolan? ). He came home with a suntan. Unfortunately here it was overcast and cold by the time I got home. I spent another evening squandering my time but at least a lot less tennis!
