lots of drops

Summer in Southwest Florida . . . HOT temps during the day, like 92 or 94F . . . and then thunder and hopefully a drenching, cooling rain. We got our wish today, lots of drops!! That will keep this poinciana tree growing. It has blooms now . . .  I'll sneak in an extra photo or two. 

Also, I blipped this tree when we planted it in our front yard -a skinny little stick of a tree! Please compare, it is amazing to me just 3 years ago. It has grown sooooooo much. Here's a blip of it one year ago -the trunk is even wider now . . . amazing. I love the photo of the blooms I took on July 4th... I shared the photo of the special Packard boat instead, but I will add those photos to the extras now!
