Mum's 80th celebrations continued

Here's mum with her 6 grandchildren all aged 18 to 25. Henry had not seen his Luxemburg cousins and one London cousin for 9 years so it was lovely that they all saw each other.
We all arrived from our hotels at about 10:30am for breakfast in Christine's garden. Loads of croissants, baguette, brown bread and pancakes.
We played a Dutch game sjoeleak where you shove wooden discs on a slippery wooden table with raised sides and hope they go through a hoop at the end to score points with the middle slots scoring more highly than the ones on the edge. It was great fun!
Christine rustled up huge dishes of ratatouille and Wim did sausages on the bbq for late lunch before Julian and I departed to go back to Gatwick in the afternoon, with the rest of the family departing later for Heathrow or by car to Germany.
And so ended a memorable birthday celebration for Mum's 80th.
