2012 Sunday — Swirls in the Foam

We waved goodbye to our home early this morning and began our "2012 summer vacation down the rabbit hole" and hoping to find a place called "Miles from Nowhere."

The coast was beautiful as we drove in a northward direction. The inland stretch from below Buellton to San Luis Obispo was green with gorgeous vineyards.

The views were spectacular but the few moments of walking the public path right to the steps that led to the sand and seeing all the swirls in the foam below just set well in the camera; so, this shot of the Pacific Ocean from the shoreline of Cayucos is my choice for today.

I love traveling with Mr. Fun and the three pups are with us; they really travel well. They are lots of fun and we enjoy them immensely.
