58 years ago in 1958 (10, the end): Vancouver

The last entry of this mini-series with the Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver (it is from a postcard in the travel diary). As mentioned in the last entry, my grandparents took a plane home on 26th June 1958 and my dad continued alone towards Vancouver (Canada), where he arrived on 28th June 1958 and worked for half a year, before returning to Switzerland in December of that year.


In the extras a picture of the route they did. Around 7'400 km from New York to San Francisco (marked in blue), and even more than 10'000 km for my dad with the additional legs before and after (marked in red).
