A little paradise ...

... is the small island of Werd, at the end of Lake Constance. Just enough space for the house & chapel, being a Franciscan convent with 5 friars and some garden around.

On the left side the old town of Stein am Rhein is visible, with its church tower. On the hill is the castle Hohenklingen, which protected the small town in the medieval age.
