Looking North

Stayed up till early hours looking at news on phone, but still rather a shock to wake up to the results of the referendum, and Cameron's resignation... Folk we've talked to here seem unsurprised - the EU is not very popular in the Alentejo, and they think Britain is strong enough to manage on its own. Owner of the café said: the EU has given us 30% and taken 70%...

Mora seemed suffused in glory this afternoon, so I ended up walking to the top of town - this was the view looking north-east, down to the river. Swallows flying everywhere, bales in the field, and a car to give scale.
