Went to Sylvia's baby shower this afternoon - Maria is due in August.

I made rocky road again - the Portuguese love it, but can't believe something so unhealthy has become my requested party piece - how did that happen?? The best game, I thought, was holding a piece of paper on our foreheads and drawing Sylvia's baby - bringing it down to see what we'd produced felt rather like giving birth...

An extra of the pretty almond cake, made by Bia, and the natural juices in recycled bottles: strawberry, lemon and orange - loved the colours.

Now going to walk up the hill to see the dancing in the main square...
