A slice of Lesley's life

Remorse?

Jackson likes to think this is a remorseful look for refusing to leave the park for 20minutes because she was having too much fun in the torrential rain. I was a tiny bit unimpressed.

And given that two hours later she had quietly eaten her bed whilst Jackson and I were playing Kittens the evidence would suggest she was more on the sulking or defiant spectrum.

Because I am a soft idiot her punishment has been a replacement super soft bed and a couple of new toys from the pet shop.

Jackson has had a very good day...Rummikub, Kittens, playing with Albi, raucous dinner time with Anna and Cam playing the interview game. Jackson was on the opposite side of the table to them and so he thought of a job they were interviewing for and asked them questions for them to guess what the job was. Turns out Jackson is a quite excellent interviewer and I think could interview well for a job as an interviewer...there was lots of, tell me about your leadership style and how you cope under pressure and role playing a disagreement with a member of your staff scenario.

And now the first half of the football.

Still tired but he has been up and around and done the most he has done in a long time.

This evening I took Albi to walk the kids to their Matilda rehearsal (warning: the end of the week is going to be nothing but dance show blips) and she walked so impeccably you could almost think a little remorse had kicked in.

Maybe the torrential rain sent her loopy. I was certainly much happier in the lovely sunny evening.
