Long day!

This is an African spotted eagle owl that we saw during our day out at Knockhatch Adventure Park but unfortunately I can't remember its name! We had to make a quick stop at the hospital afterwards as an insect bite my daughter got on Wednesday was infected (nothing a course of antibiotics won't fix and no, according to the doctor I'm not a neurotic mother...but it sure feels like it sometimes!) so we were worn out when we got home but all still managed to stay up to watch the spectacular Olympic Opening Ceremony.
