Rowers

A most excellent day out on the water with Misterft and his two boys, who are a credit to him, so they are. For, 'Twas the Forth Midsummer Challenge, an event of sailing, rowing and running involving nine rowing teams from around the Forth (if we include St Andrews) between Newhaven and Granton, organised jointly by wirselves at FCYC and Newhaven Coastal Rowers. And there was a barbecue and a band and even... a beer tent! And bunting. And chairs for the old codgers. Here are the local team from Newhaven who were narrowly pipped at the death by Anstruther, lining up for a shot by a the photographer who was just to my right. Yep, my photos out on the water were a bit snatched and sub-standard, even for me. Yes, yes.....
