Crane Fly ?

I think tonight's upload is a crane fly which I spotted on a reed by the pond.

Large might be worth a look as it has a lot of fine detail.

I was really pleased to get this with the camera hand held and conditions quite windy, had to be patient and catch it each time the breeze died down.

Not much doing apart from Argyll Monsoons today in between wonderful warm bright sunshine.

Looking forward to the Opening ceremony tonight to find out where all our money went, well that's just a small part of it. Really looking forward to see what Danny Doyle has come up with.

I wonder which country will be the first to have the nerve and self belief to host the Olumpics and go with a really simple . inexpensive Opening Ceremony which goes back to the basic Olympic philosophy.( and one which has the sense and good taste to realise they don't have to "spice" up the closing ceremony).
