On the phone

These two are just plain daft! They were on the phone to each other...wish I could get my foot up to my ear like that!
Busy day
C had band competition - he got a silver award for his cornet piece. He thought he could have done better, I thought he was fantastic - I'm so proud of him as neither A or I play music so he has no help at home at all.
D had gymnastics competition. He's now in the under 8 category and so in with the big boys. He did so well. 2 weeks ago he is arms and legs were all over, yesterday his practise and concentration has paid off and he put on a good performance - tight arms, good poise and looked a proper little gymnast!
As we'd not celebrated my HM and A's cycle across Scotland yet we went out to Ed's Easy Diner - a fab 1950s American themed cafe - burgers and floats all round. The boys were v impressed at the juke box on the table that had lots of beach boys tunes on it, tho disappointed at how quick the 20p coins ran out :-D
