Homecoming parade

The troops from our local barracks are just back from Afganistan. The boys were allowed out of school early to watch the homecoming parade through town. They were very impressed by the guns ...tho disappointed that they didn't see a tank. Like they'd wheel a tank through the town! :-D they make me laugh those boys ha ha ha

C is wearing his lovely tie dyed t-shirt. His class all had them, they dyed and ironed them for their class assembly. We were treated to a version of Joseph - it was brilliant! The best school assembly I've ever seen. They all knew the words, spoke clearly, got their cues and generally looked like they were having a fab time!

Rest of Friday was as normal - Penicuik to Lasswade for gymnastics, Lasswade to Penicuik for life saving, Penicuik to Lasswade to collect gymnast, Lasswade to Penicuik to drop one cricketer at cricket club, across Penicuik to collect other cricketer from life saving and depositing at cricket club. Then collecting both cricketers before ordering takeaway delivery and pouring a large glass of wine!
