Everything has grown!

First run on the trails around Penicuik this year - it was a bit of a stinging nettle and tree dodging exercise. I've got used to running the roads up from flotterstone or in the hills, and hadn't anticipated quite so many nettles, wet tall grasses and trees full of leaves hanging over the paths. It was quite an obstacle course. Not my fastest run (probably due to too much prosecco last night) but nice to get the legs moving :-)
Spent rest of day planting out perrenials in the garden - in the hope that they will out compete the weeds! And sowed some beans and carrots, and killed lots and lots of snails!
Oh and very excitingly we saw the bluetits fledge - such cute fluffy things!
