A little cardy for Ella

After a few nice days of enjoying the sun and the company of friends, today reverted to type, with the cloud hanging low over the surrounding hills and the temperature barely in double figures.

I got the 3 buttons I needed to finish Ella's cardy in Grainger Market yesterday, total cost 12p. The wool cost £35 though as it is Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino.

Now I'm off to pack as tomorrow I'm flying to Pisa with a friend for our Inntravel walking holiday. My arthritic foot is playing up so I'm on the painkillers. Wish me luck!
