A Dog Needs a Rest

Basil, of course, taking it easy in the garden at Gower Lodge in Uppingham.

We had a marvellous day taking photos, chatting with Clive and Elaine, and wandering around open gardens in the afternoon.

It had been misty at the start of the day, but it wasn't the ground mist that would be attractive in garden photos. Must keep trying.

The Church Hall ladies served a refreshing cup of tea and gluten free shortbread made with cornflour, sugar and butter, and even two home made meringues with strawberries. I had one and Len took the other.
