A grey misty start to the day. It was a day for tunnels from 1 to 7 Kms in length, sometimes emerging into sunshine or out onto a misty mountain. I came across two flowers one later identified as a mountain Avens, the other a pretty blue/pink.

Our aim was to stop near the mountains of Svartisen and called into a tourist info spot across from the mountains, the day now beautiful with stunning views. The TI was helpful, we can spend the night here on the car park looking across to the mountains, the Engabreen glazier and down to the Holandsfjord. The colours are remarkable from stark white of the snow, blue sky and the turquoise of the fiord.
