Looking UNDER a glazier

Taken by John, what a view looking under the ice and the space above the rock.

A good night with a few vans camped alongside us, the views just as good this morning. We are now a short distance along the road and waiting for a ferry to take us as passengers across the fiord and walk to the tongue of the Engabreen glazier.

A good track for walking the first 3 Kms and then the gradual rocky climb that eventually left me standing. John made it to the edge of the glazier and has taken some great shots of underneath the ice.

Another warm sunny day, John felt cold when up by the ice otherwise a warm, sometimes hot day. We are now on a campsite next to the fiord and it has a good wifi, the ferry we need to take is just a few minutes away.
