Midnight

We camped along the road to Eggum and this morning a drive through the village of dried fish and then heads. It's cloudy and warm.
Back on the E10 to Leknes to do some shopping at a supermarket called Rema 1000. For once we shopped slowly looking at fish cakes (not as good as they looked) cold meats, frozen food. I think this is the best supermarket visited for days. In Norway wine and spirits are not sold in supermarkets but a separate shop, a government system but wonder how they control who buys what? Not sure I want to know.

We slowly headed towards the ferry terminal at Moskenes, the day was warm with some cloud, apparently this good weather will come to an end on Wednesday. We arrived at the terminal mid afternoon and found a place in the queue, motorhomes and lorries. The ferry left at 20.30, a smooth journey of about 3 hours arriving in Bodo on time. We had previously decided on the road to take out of the city and felt part of a clan as all the motorhomes drove off looking for a car park or similar for an over night stop. Two of us headed out to the road and within 3-4 Kms a large parking space appeared. Spot on. The view was perfect with the midnight sun providing a glorious view.

An hour later I heard a cuckoo nearby, a cuckoo at night.
The extra was taken from the ferry.
