Hadrian's Wall

We took Northumbrian friends to walk a bit of the Roman Wall with us today. They had never had a walk there before. It was perfect walking weather. We did about 8 miles from
Steel Rigg to Housesteads and back a lower route. The rain just started when we were having a pint at Twice Brewed, so weren't we lucky?
