Weekend away

The highlight last night of viewing friend Tom in the TV programme about his old Morgan was when they interviewed him at Thropton Show. They put up subtitles. He is English but it must have been considered that a Northumbrian accent was incomprehensible to the south. We all had a good laugh. It was a late night as his wife played the piano and people sang. Drink was taken. We walked along the hillside home, only 1.5 miles.

Now we are in Yorkshire staying with our old friends S and M. Behave, it sounds better than the other way round, M and S is a shop. Here is one of S's new paintings. Tomorrow a walk with views over the dales. The weather is looking up at last.
