A rough sea at Hythe

Lovely day spent by the sea on the kent coast at Hythe with two of my favourite men.

Walked along the shingle beach looking for interesting stones,  had lunch in the garden of a very old pub and meandered along the Royal Military canal that was built as protection from a Napoleonic invasion - which of course did not happen.

In all, a mildly energetic but very relaxing day.
