world in a grain of sand

all the pretty horses

the party began to break up today, Ithaca and Mr Ithaca went home first, which left 6 of us to sit in the River Cafe (not that one, the one in Glasbury) drinking coffee, before two more left for home. That just left four, the home village contingent.
We wanted a high walk, so we drove to Hay Bluff and climbed to the top. There were fabulous views for many miles. The two men decided to go for a longer walk, so T and I descended to lie on the grass and chat. The ponies know the parking places are good for feeding so they congregate there. There was a crowd of ponies and foals - the foals having adorable bottle brush tails.
I'm a bit disappointed with the over exposed sky, but like the ponies too much to leave them out!
