Autumn Winds

I have a friend visiting from Murchison.  This morning we went into Timaru so she could get a haircut.  Coincidentally the hairdresser I took her to is straight across from a wonderful shoe shot.  We both tried on boots, and both refrained - but it was a close run thing.

This afternoon I took her up to Geraldine to visit her cousin and we had a lovely lunch at Verde.  After a visit to cousin's house we went out to Mayfield to check out Jan's amazing second hand empire.  Neither of us managed to refrain there and we both came back with marvellous finds that we 'needed'.  I'm thrilled with my bone handled knives and she is really pleased about the roasting dish she unearthed.

A great day - except for the fact that the leaves on this tree just wouldn't stay still in the roaring wind.
