And the sun shone
How to describe the most amazing day – we have seen so much of Seattle, we have learnt so much about this remarkable place, we have had lunch at an elevation of 500 feet and been amazed as we slowly revolved and the view of the city opened up all around us, we have walked round the University, the Sculpture Park and . . . I don’t now have to list any more as I have just found that NannaK has done that for me. As for the whistle-stop drive right through the middle of the city – fearless driver or what!!
We have talked and laughed and really enjoyed the company of two wonderful people, whom we now feel we have known all our lives. Many, many thanks to both of you.
The blip is the two tour guides on the observation deck of the Space Needle. One extra is the Space Needle itself and the other is the proof that I, who is fearful of heights, actually made it to the top . . . and looked out! And just look how far I had travelled to get there!
